KRZYSZTOF JANKOWSKI
He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology UMCS with a degree in philosophy of culture and learning about the culture. It is engaged in sculpture since 2004.
The beginnings of my work is like drawing. With the passage of time, there is also interest in working in wax, a natural consequence of which is the creation of spatial things. The works are performed by lost wax, so I combine brown with stone, wood or other materials.
My inspiration is the world around us, Salvador Dali, Alberto Giacometti. Master, teacher, friend Dariusz Zielinski. The sculptures are an attempt to show the subjective reality that is in me. I hope that the recipient will find in my work something close, that will be a bridge to another world, fascinating, time and disturbing.
